I'm Melanie.
The name Elani Cael is my spiritual name.

Elani means light carrier - torch carrier. The name Cael is the origin of my last name Kaal.

Cael is one of the archangels with the ascendant in cancer. Cael is a heroic warrior in Irish mythology.

The name Elani Cael stands for who I am, it resonates for me with my life course that you can read more about below.

I do not consider myself a spiritual teacher, self-help guru, coach, healer, expert, entrepreneur or leader. The sentence that resonates most with me is Anam Cara, which is Celtic for 'Soul Friend'.

As a child I felt, heard and saw more. Not always understood by my immediate environment. These days we are more open to the spiritual side and not everything is "weird" anymore.

In short my life course:

In my youth saw, heard and felt more. For example I saw the "creatures" that I drew during my childhood on the walls of the temple of Damanhur around the age of thirty-five. I didn't talk about this much in my youth because this was not understood in the family in which I grew up. As my mother always said when it became too exciting with my observations "I don't want to know about it, we will leave the dead alone"

- I left my parental home when I was sixteen. Had a wandering existence for a period, wandering literally and figuratively.

- I started laying tarot cards around the age of sixteen. Seeing, hearing and feeling on a spiritual level only developed more and more. Cleaning houses and people was a matter of course for me. I have been doing this since I was 20 years old. Now I am stepping out of the shade to help multiple people. I am not surprised at anything, I have experienced quite a few experiences during the cleaning and balancing of houses and people.

- 17 years old My 1st almost death experience, I lost all my blood. I made it through a large blood transfusion of several bags of blood. This experience made for a spiritual experience. I write more about this in my book.

- Rape, mental and physical abuse, miscarriage have been less the nice side of my life but these experiences have strengthened me more.

 - I have walked many spiritual paths, but now I know that shamanism has always been my path. I follow the Scandinavian shamanic path. The shamanism of the low countries.

- In addition to my spiritual side, I worked for years in the commercial world as a coach, trainer, in various management roles, and recruiter.

 - I love to clean and balance houses and people so it brings peace. I do not have a laundry list with shamanic / spiritual courses that I have followed. I have taken one advanced course with a well-known shaman. For this course I was asked by the shaman. It has been my confirmation and eye-opener that this is the path I have been walking since my early childhood.

- 35 years: my second almost death experience. Winter season, one hour driven into the sea near Zeeland. Ended up in the water and drifted away by the strong current. I had no hypothermia symptoms or physical symptoms. After an hour I was taken out of the water by screaming, the last part I drowned. This provided a deep spiritual experience and gave me many insights.

I am writing a book about my life. I hope to be able to give strength or insight to who needs this. You are never alone, spirit always walks next to you during life.

I am still learning and sometimes ruining it, yet fully committed to doing what I came here to do as a soul: Being human, loving myself and others and contributing to the well-being of this planet.

The reality is that Soul Loss an epidemic is on this planet. In fact, some of the most overlooked and paradoxical ways in which we lose our souls are religion and spirituality. Loss of soul is not just a spiritual metaphor, a psychological perspective, or something we could learn about through shamanism. Also, soul loss is not only due to an accident, abuse, trauma, a repressive job, an unhealthy relationship, or the circumvention of our humanity. their organic nature and their separation of true love.

This disconnection of our soul is an underlying reason why this planet is in such a bad shape. Soul loss is behind many of the global problems that we face, including injustice (political, religious or social), violence, illness, excessive consumerism and the ever-increasing environmental crisis.

Soul work gives us the courage, strength and endurance to do what good is not only for ourselves, but also for others, and that is why I believe that soul work is a form of activism.

Simply put: soul work takes us in, so we can step out more effectively. This is all the reason why I am committed to embodying my own soul and supporting others as they remember, reclaim and embody their unique souls .
